De Rozenhoedkaai
Without a surprise the Rozenhoedkaai is the most photographed spot in Bruges. If you visit it it will only take a few seconds to understands why. De Burg
This square is the heart of Bruges. The Burg, previously a walled fortress, is the most tourist square in the city. Next to a beautiful town hall it houses the mythical Basilica of the Holy Blood. Visit this square to enjoy the beautiful architecture, the street artists or one of the nice souvenir shops.

Begijnhof
The Beguinage Ten Wijngaarde was founded in 1245 and is famous for his small white coloured houses. The Beguinage was once the home of the Beguines but is today inhabited by nuns of the Order of Saint Benedict. You can visit the church, one of the small houses and the beguinage garden. Pay attention to the city gate when you visit this beautiful place.

De Grote Markt
The Markt is dominated by its Belfry, for centuries the city’s foremost edifice and the perfect look-out in case of war, fire or any other calamity. The statue of The Bruges heroes Jan Breydel and Pieter de Coninck graces the middle of the square. Het Minnewaterpark
Het Minnewaterpark, also called Lake of Love is a big park in the south of bruges with a beautiful lake called Minnewater. The lake of Love became the most romantic spot in Bruges due to a tragic legend about Minna and her Love, Stromberg. The legend says you will experience eternal love if you walk over the lake bridge with your partner.

De Dijver
De Dijver is a canal and street in the city center of Bruges, close to the Rozenhoedkaai. The street is popular due to its many functions. There are three famous city museums, nice tourist bars and tea rooms and cosy souvenir and folk markets during the weekend. De Dijver is close to two beautiful squares, the Huidenvettersplein and the Vismarkt, both squares are certainly worth a visit.

Jan Van Eyckplein
When visiting Bruges you just can't skip the Jan Van Eyckplein. This beautiful square named after a famous painter is one of the must see spots in Bruges. The buildings on the square reveal the formal commercial function of the square. There is a tollbooth and most houses on the square have big gates. The streets around the square reveal Bruges beauty.

The city mills
De Kruisvest used to be the part of the city ramparts between two ancient city gates in the North East side of Bruges. Nowadays de Kruisvest is a big promenade on top of the old ramparts with four old city mills on it. This is an amazing and quiet place to wander around or have a picnic.
